SNOW EMERGENCIES: In case of a severe snow emergency, Saturday night into Sunday, please call

the Rectory concerning the celebration of Holy Mass. In such cases we will try to celebrate Mass at

5PM that Sunday when possible. My first concern is for your safety.

 

WEBSITE RE-CONSTRUCTION: After months of correcting a virus and re-constructing my computer,

things are back in order. Right now our website is undergoing a face-lift. However, beginning today you can

view the bulletin online once again. To view the bulletin, go to our website & click on the link. I will let you

know when our website is up and running again. LOOK FOR NEW FEATURES ON OUR SITE.    

 

TO BE BAPTIZED: Blake Jeffery Dianese, son of Guido & Angie Dianese will be Baptized next Sunday

during the 11AM Mass. Come and welcome Blake to our parish family.

 

RECORDING SECRETARY: We are in need of someone to fill the office of Recording Secretary.

Anyone who may be interested, please see Fr. Carmen.

 

EPIPHANY VISITS: For the blessing of homes will begin the week.  Fr. Carmen will be in touch with

those who have signed-up to set a time to visit.

 

NEW THINGS COMING: Some changes will be coming to St. Mary’s in the next few weeks to make

worship & our parish a better place. MORE INFORMATION COMING!

       

CHRISTIAN UNITY: The world-wide observance of the Week of Prayer for Christian is held JANUARY

18th to 25th. The local Prater Service will be held WEDNESDAY JANUARY 25th in St. Peter’s Cathedral,

Scranton. Representatives from many of the area Churches will present. This year the guest homilist will be

our Bishop the Rt. Rev. John E. Mack. Fr. Carmen will be attending the Service as Ecumenical Officer of the

Central Diocese. It would be wonderful if many of you as possible would attend the Service in support of

Bishop John. The Service begins at 12:10PM. If are unable to be present physically, you can watch it on

Comcast channel 12. 

 

SACRED VOCATIONS: Please pray for an increase of Vocations to the Priesthood & Diaconate.

 

REMEMBER THE SICK: Please pray for the sick & infirmed of our parish & friends. Especially
